Joscel’s journey with IMA began in 2019, when he joined the IMA Philippines Chapter as Vice President of Administration. His dedication and leadership qualities quickly propelled him into the role of Chapter President in the following fiscal year. Under his helm, the Philippines Chapter saw significant growth in volunteer engagement and member value creation activities, expanding the chapter’s reach and impact.
In 2022, Joscel was appointed as one of the Global Board Directors of the IMA, where he served in a governance capacity to accelerate value creation for IMA members. His influence continued to grow when he took on additional roles as a delegate to the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) and as a member of the IMA Regional Advisory Committee – Asia Pacific in 2025. Throughout these roles, he has actively promoted accounting and financial leadership, bridging global standards with local needs, making him a standout figure in the profession.
